All Qualified Teachers and Unqualified Teachers must supply a qualification certificate. This proves that you are qualified for the role you are applying for.
If you are a ‘High Level Teaching Assistant’ you may also be asked to supply a proof of qualifications.
Other Teaching Staff do not need to supply qualifications (unless a school states otherwise) but it is still ideal to submit any qualifications that you have which will help you secure future work.
Qualified Teachers
Are required to supply a copy of their QTS Certificate AND preferably (but not mandatory) a copy of their BA/BSc certificate.
Unqualified Teachers
Are required to supply their most recent qualification certificate, i.e. BA/BSc certificate. And, if you have QTLS, you are required to upload your QTLS certificate.
High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
In some instances you will be requested to supply proof of your qualifications. For instance, you may be requested to supply a 'Level 3 early year practitioner certificate' Or 'BSL British Sign Language certificate'. Also, if you have a recent First Aid certificate and/or have a Team Teach certificate this would also be useful, and will help you secure future work.
All other Teaching Staff
You are not required to supply any qualifications, however, if you have qualification certificates it's recommended that you upload them as this will help you secure future work. Also, if you have a recent First Aid certificate and/or have a Team Teach certificate this would also be useful.
